New blogging time

So I haven't had a personal blog for quite some time now.... I've got my old blog; and my photography blog.... but I got tired of using Xanga.... and I don't really want to put too many personal things on my photo blog.

So here we are!

I've actually had this blog for a very long time. I only used it to comment on other people's blogspots, but now I'm going to open it up for thoughts, fun kiddo stories, great deals that I love to share, and just downright entertaining things.

We just went to my family's cabin in Mt. Vernon, Ohio this past weekend. I basically spent my summers up there on the weekends when I was little, and I'm so excited that my girls can do the same! Megan had a BALL going to the beach and 'seeing boats'... Lydia couldn't care less, but had a good time splashing all the same.

I took a ton of photos on my point and shoot; didn't even take my 7D with me... it's liberating sometimes not to lug it around! Boy do I love having that point and shoot though.... especially with kids! I'll upload some photos later. Right now, I'm going to go lay down and relax... somehow I found the energy to clean my kitchen from top to bottom as soon as we got home... and darnit, I deserve some relax time for that! :-)
